Nitin Gadkari, Minister, Road Transport and Highways, said Rs.23.78 billion for construction of two sections of frontier highway with a total length of 93 km in Arunachal Pradesh has been sanctioned. The development of road infrastructure aims at strengthening connectivity to border areas and fostering socio-economic growth in the region. Sharing the information on X, he said that in Arunachal Pradesh, an allocation of Rs.20.98 billion has been sanctioned for construction of the Bomdila-Nafra-Lada Section covering 78.3 km and Rs.2.79 billion for the 15.4 km-long Lada-Sarli section (Package 7) of NH-913 (Frontier Highway) on an EPC mode.
