Afcons, led by S Paramasivan, Managing Director, has once again bagged two major civil contract orders worth Rs.29.07 billion after sucessfully completing the first phase of the Kanpur Metro in record time in November 2021. Paramasivan's team will be constructing the 23.79 km Line-1 (IIT – Naubasta second)'s underground package, which will link Nayaganj Station and Transport Nagar Ramp via three underground stations at Kanpur Central, Jhakarkatti and Transport Nagar. RBS College Ramp and Taj Mahal Ramp will be connected by the second 7.93 km of the 14.25 km Agra Metro package. Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Jama Masjid, SN Medical College, Agra College, Raja ki Mandi and RBS College will all have twin tunnels connecting them. Evidently, this victory is a true breakthrough for the Afcons team!
