Under the Smart CIty Mission, projects worth Rs 5.67 bn are being implemented in Dharamshala to elevate the urban facilities in the town. These projects would play a key role in making the city more attractive for tourists and the local people. 17 development projects of Rs 1.16 bn are already completed which includes a zone treatment plant, rooftop solar power plant, street pavement and up-gradation project. While 27 projects worth Rs 650 mn are under construction. E-Municipality facility, parks, a website and a GIS web portal of the smart city has also been created.
