Auto Expo to Witness Record Participation from Vehicle Manufacturers

The 17th edition of the Auto Expo, organized by the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), will feature a record-breaking 34 vehicle manufacturers, the highest-ever number of participants in the event’s history since its inception in 1986.

Scheduled from January 17-22, 2025, at Bharat Mandapam, the expo is part of the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, which will be held in collaboration with the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA) and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).

SIAM Director General Rajesh Menon confirmed that 34 vehicle manufacturers would showcase their latest technological innovations in various powertrains, marking a new milestone for the event.

Prominent automakers participating in the event include Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki, Mahindra & Mahindra, Toyota Kirloskar Motor, Hyundai Motor India, Kia Motor India, JSW MG Motor, and Skoda Auto Volkswagen India. Luxury brands such as BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, and BYD will also present their vehicles.

The two-wheeler sector will be represented by TVS Motor Company, Bajaj Auto, Hero MotoCorp, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India, Suzuki Motorcycle, and Yamaha Motor India. Additionally, commercial vehicle manufacturers like Volvo Eicher, Ashok Leyland, JBM, and Cummins India will participate.

For the first time, pure electric vehicle (EV) manufacturers such as Ather Energy, TI Clean Mobility, Eka Mobility, Ola Electric, and Vinfast will showcase their offerings.

At the expo, SIAM will set up thematic pavilions focusing on key industry topics, including decarbonization, circularity, electrification, and road safety.

The Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 will take place at Bharat Mandapam, Yashobhoomi (India International Convention and Expo Center) in Dwarka, and at the India Expo Centre & Mart in Greater Noida, with the event running concurrently at both locations.

The last edition of the Auto Expo was held from January 11-18, 2023, at Greater Noida, and the inaugural Bharat Mobility Global Expo took place in February 2024.
