0.1Mn Enrol: Yamuna Expressway's Residential Plots Scheme

With the closing date for applications just around the corner, the residential plots scheme presented by the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has already garnered substantial attention. Over 66,500 application forms have been sold and approximately 29,000 individuals have taken the step to secure plots by depositing earnest money as of Friday.

Officials from the authority have expressed satisfaction with the "very good response" the scheme has received, reporting that more than 0.1 million individuals have registered their interest by Friday.

The scheme, spanning across three YEIDA sectors — 16, 17, and 20 along the Yamuna Expressway, is strategically positioned for rapid growth. Its proximity to both the Yamuna Expressway and the upcoming Jewar Airport has spurred interest among investors. Further catalysing the region's allure are upcoming projects such as the Film City, industrial parks, medical device parks, textile parks, and improved connectivity with Noida and Greater Noida.

Under this scheme, residential plots are offered at Rs 24,600 per square metre (sq m). The selection includes seven distinct sizes ranging from 120 sq m to 2,000 sq m, catering to various preferences and requirements. Notably, there are 1,184 plots available in total, offering ample options for potential investors.

With the scheme's culmination date nearing, the remarkable response reflects the eagerness of individuals to explore investment opportunities in this strategically positioned region along the Yamuna Expressway.
