CREDAI’s Indian Property Show witnesses strong participation from 210 developers and 13,500 visitors

  • Over 1,000 projects across India displayed over the course of the three day event.
  • Huge interest shown by NRIs for knowledge seminars on RERA, GST and Indian realty trends.
  • CREDAI held the Smart India Realty Meet & Awards to acknowledge the leading developers in UAE and India.

CREDAI’s Indian Property Show held in Dubai between December 7-9, witnessed a huge reception with over 13,500 visitors attending the exhibition over the course of the three day affair. The event witnessed displays of over a 1,000 projects of Rs 15 lakh and above from more than 210 developers. CREDAI also organised the Smart India Realty Meet & Awards Ceremony to appreciate the work and impact made by the leading developers and government institutions in the UAE and India. To further enhance the understanding of the Indian real estate sector, CREDAI conducted knowledge seminars on subjects such as RERA, taxation, legal and realty trends, which were highly appreciated and attended in great numbers.

The exhibition, in collaboration with Dubai based Sumansa Exhibitions, was the first international exhibition of Indian Properties in Dubai post implementation of the Real Estate Regulation and Development Act (RERA). The act has led to a highly positive sentiment to be prevalent amongst the NRI homebuyers majorly due to the high level of the consumer centric culture currently present in the sector. This was also reflected by the strong level of interest with roughly 13,500 enquiries and expected sales of over 1,000 units from the properties which were on offer at the exhibition.

The event also included specific state pavilions such as Gujarat, Maharashtra, Delhi – NCR, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal, Goa, among others. It was also noticed that properties from South India gained the maximum amount of traction in terms of queries, primarily for properties falling in the Rs 50-70 lakh segment.

During the event, CREDAI unveiled its Dubai chapter and established a grievance redressal forum for the consumers settled in the UAE region, thereby further extending its commitment towards safeguarding the best interests of home buyers.

CREDAI President Jaxay Shah, says “CREDAI, along with Sumansa Exhibitions, have been able to display the most prime properties from the most credible developers of India in Dubai. The combination of CREDAI’s goodwill and the new era of RERA in the Indian real estate gave the event an extremely strong foundation to flourish amongst a base of keen NRI buyers who also displayed an extremely strong interest in buying Indian properties.”

CREDAI Chairman Getamber Anand, shares his opinion, “We feel that over the course of the three days, the Indian Property Show has fulfilled its objective of showcasing the country’s finest real estate properties to the NRI base settled in Dubai. We are elated with the overwhelming participation from various stakeholders who elevated this event to such great heights. This new era of transparency and accountability has led to many buyers – both home and abroad – to fulfill their dreams of buying a house in India.”

Vipul Thakkar, Chairman, International Exhibition CREDAI, says, “We have showcased the top developers of the country who are all RERA approved and have a long standing of goodwill and commitment of giving their customers the best of their dream homes. The conversations that took place during this exhibition is a sign of rebuilding of NRIs confidence in Indian real estate."
