It is said that India has the best safety standards and safety protocols for industrial safety in the world, but very rarely they are visible at the ground level in most of the factories across the country. A worker, being the mainstay of every manufacturing unit, is a crucial human resource whose wellbeing is vital, not only for his family, but also for the industry. Globally, awareness about health and safety at workplace is increasing.

In India, as part of its reform process, the Union Government is planning to subsume as many as 44 central labour laws in to 4 Labour Codes - on wages, industrial relations, social security and occupational safety, health and working conditions. Chembur Metro to Boost East Mumbai Links

Herrenknecht TBMs Drive Thane–Borivali Tunnel Progress

Herrenknecht India has supplied two of the four tunnel boring machines (TBMs) required for the 11-km Thane–Borivali Twin Tunnel Project being developed by the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA).
