Godrej Properties Acquires 26-acre Land near Sarjapur Road

Godrej Properties Limited (GPL), one of India’s leading real estate developers, has acquired a prime 26-acre land parcel near Sarjapur Road in South Bengaluru. The company plans to develop a premium residential project on the site, with an estimated revenue potential of Rs 1,100 million.

The acquisition strengthens GPL’s presence in the Sarjapur corridor—one of Bengaluru’s fastest-growing residential hubs. The area’s excellent connectivity to Whitefield, Outer Ring Road, and Electronic City, coupled with high-quality social infrastructure, has made it a preferred location for homebuyers.

The corridor continues to demonstrate robust market fundamentals and strong absorption rates, reflecting its sustained appeal and growth potential. GPL already has a strong footprint in South Bengaluru with successful projects such as Godrej Park Retreat and Godrej Lakeside Orchards, both of which have witnessed strong sales momentum.

Commenting on the acquisition, Gaurav Pandey, MD & CEO, Godrej Properties, said, “Sarjapur Road stands out as a key growth hub in Bengaluru’s evolving urban fabric. The success of our recent projects highlights the trust customers place in our brand. We remain committed to delivering thoughtfully designed, high-quality developments that create enduring value for all stakeholders.”
