Hiranandani Group to develop 2 million sq ft office at Rs 1,000 cr

Real estate major Hiranandani Group will invest more than Rs 1,000 crore for developing a two million sq ft office space at the 350 acre Hiranandani Estate township on Ghodbunder Highway in Thane.

The company has already developed more than 4.1 million sq ft business area in Hiranandani Business Park, together with build-to-suit standalone workplace towers for Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Bayer Cropscience.

The developer has accomplished a 0.6 million sq ft, 25 storey workplace tower, Quantum, has acquired occupation certificates from Thane civic body for a similar. The company is currently in superior talks with corporates to lease the separate tower.

MD of Hiranandani Group, Niranjan Hiranandani, said that the robust response in the improvement in the location has inspired the company to invest in adding a 2 million sq ft workplace area. Worth offices near a worthy place in a built-in township are the perfect future of labour in this situation of the Covid-19.

The new business improvement of a standalone 21 storey business tower, Centaurus, spanning around 2 million sq ft, shall be accomplished by December 2022.

Funding is the biggest for any developer for business actual property development in Thane, attracting occupiers from the banking, monetary companies and insurance coverage (BFSI), data and IT companies, prescription drugs, analysis and improvement, transport and world logistics companies.

These business workplaces accord with the new business demand that provides a workplace close to the property. In this pandemic, distant working has garnered traction in the business. To cater for the pattern, the business towers offer a stroll to the work-sphere, harmonising workers wellness and buyer centricity. These are the parameters for new watchwords in business actual property, Niranjan said.
