JDA Extends Deadline for Two Residential Schemes Applications

The Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) has extended the deadline for applications for two residential schemes, Atal Vihar Yojana and Govind Yojana, until February 7. The decision was made due to the overwhelming number of applications received.

A total of more than one lakh applications have been submitted for these schemes, with the highest number coming from the general category. Across the three upcoming residential schemes, including Patel Nagar, JDA has made 756 plots available.

For the Govind Yojana scheme, 75,293 online applications have been received. Of these, 47,066 applications are from the general category, while 10,414 applications have been submitted by government employees. Additionally, 8,847 applications are from the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category, 7,528 from the Scheduled Caste (SC) category, 95 from journalists, 26 from transgenders, and 1,317 from soldiers.

Similarly, for the Atal Vihar Yojana, a total of 47,650 applications have been recorded. This includes 33,649 applications from the general category, 6,372 from government employees, 1,809 from the ST category, 3,556 from the SC category, 58 from journalists, 20 from transgenders, and 1,915 from soldiers.

Notably, a total of 46 transgenders have applied for these two schemes.

Meanwhile, applications for JDA’s Patel Nagar residential scheme will be accepted until February 13. The lottery draw for the Govind Vihar scheme is scheduled for February 20, while the Atal Vihar Yojana draw will take place on February 14. The Patel Nagar scheme lottery will be conducted on February 24.
