JLL Leases 120,000 Sq Ft Office in Hyderabad to Add 1,600 Jobs

JLL, a global commercial real estate and investment management company, has signed a lease for a new 120,000 sq. ft office facility in Hyderabad, reinforcing its long-term commitment to India as a strategic operations hub. The expansion will support JLL Business Services (JBS), the company’s global operations delivery platform, and is expected to create over 1,600 highly skilled roles by the end of Q1 2026.

Located across two floors of the Prestige Sky Tech building in Hyderabad’s Financial District, the new facility will serve as JBS’s second strategic hub in India. The move reflects JLL’s shift from traditional shared services to advanced, high-value business operations that underpin its global real estate consulting and advisory capabilities.

Once operational, the Hyderabad centre will join JLL’s network of Shared Service Centers across six countries, collectively employing over 6,000 professionals, with more than half based in India. JBS functions as JLL’s Global Capability Center (GCC), delivering advanced analytics, technology-enabled solutions and strategic services spanning finance operations, human resources, project and development services, lease administration and complex business processes for global clients.

Matthew Rees, Chief Shared Service Center Officer, JLL Business Services, said, “This commitment reflects our confidence in India’s exceptional talent pool and Hyderabad’s emergence as a global business centre. We are not simply adding office space—we are creating opportunities to work on sophisticated challenges that directly influence commercial real estate decisions worldwide.”

Dheeraj Popli, Head, Global Service Center, India, JLL Business Services, said, “India’s vast STEM talent base and collaborative work culture have positioned the country as a preferred destination for high-value global functions. Indian professionals today play a central role in advanced analytics, AI development and strategic operations.”

The new office will feature modern, LEED-certified workplace design aligned with JLL’s global research on productivity and employee preferences, including hybrid collaboration spaces, advanced technology infrastructure and wellness-focused amenities.

JLL’s expansion also leverages Hyderabad’s strengths as a leading business and technology hub, offering strong infrastructure, a skilled workforce and a supportive policy environment. The move aligns with broader growth in India’s GCC ecosystem, where the country has emerged as a global centre for innovation-led enterprise operations.
