KEC International Secures Rs 10,200 mn of New Orders

KEC International Ltd., a global infrastructure engineering, procurement and construction major and flagship company of the RPG Group, has secured new orders worth Rs 10,200 mn across its businesses. The orders were announced from the company's civil, transportation, transmission and distribution and cables and conductors verticals. The total reflects continued diversification of the order book and geographic reach.

The civil business won a significant contract to construct a multispeciality hospital for a leading healthcare player in Central India, reinforcing the company's presence in the hospital segment. The transportation business secured an order to build a railway siding for a private sector client in Central India, a strategic addition to its infrastructure portfolio. The cables and conductors vertical obtained multiple orders for supply of various cable types in domestic and overseas markets, supporting both industrial and utility demand. A subsidiary has secured successive large tower supply orders in the United States, demonstrating sustained momentum in North American transmission and distribution markets. The company indicated that these wins contribute to steady order intake and operational visibility.

KEC noted that its year-to-date order intake stands at Rs 203,000 mn, reflecting broad based demand across its verticals and geographies. The company reiterated its focus on executing large scale EPC projects across power, transportation and civil segments while leveraging its global footprint in 110-plus countries. Management emphasised continued pursuit of sector opportunities to bolster the order pipeline and long term growth prospects.
