The budget also allocated Rs 50 crore to supply uninterrupted drinking water to every house and Rs 10.28 crore for the Aardram project, which focuses on developing primary and family health centres in the city.

S Arya Rajendran, the Mayor, told the media that every project announced in FY 22-23 and the previous year would be executed in the next five years by the incumbent governing council.
