Mahindra Lifespaces, Mitsui Fudosan Form JV; Launch Mahindra Blossom

Mahindra Blossom is a high-rise residential development comprising around 730 homes, located near the Hopefarm Channasandra Metro Station on the Namma Metro Purple Line. Situated along a major IT and employment corridor, the project is Bengaluru’s fourth net zero waste residential development and offers connectivity to commercial hubs, educational institutions, healthcare facilities and social infrastructure.

Commenting on the joint venture, Amit Kumar Sinha, Managing Director & CEO, Mahindra Lifespace Developers, said, “This joint venture with the Mitsui Fudosan Group marks a significant milestone for Mahindra Lifespaces. As Japan’s largest residential developer, Mitsui Fudosan sets global benchmarks in design, sustainability and customer experience, and we look forward to integrating their best practices into Mahindra Blossom. Daijiro Eguchi, Managing Director, Mitsui Fudosan (Asia) Pte., said India represents a highly attractive residential market driven by urbanisation and strong economic fundamentals, and noted that Mahindra Blossom marks the group’s entry into India’s residential sector through a partnership with a sustainability-focused local developer.

The project will feature shared lifestyle amenities including a half-Olympic size swimming pool, gymnasium, badminton courts, jogging tracks, a pet park and community spaces. Amenities span around 97,000 sq ft, complemented by nearly four acres of green and open spaces, along with integrated retail to support everyday convenience.

Mahindra Blossom has been planned with an emphasis on climate-responsive design, energy-efficient planning, and on-site waste segregation and recycling, in line with Mahindra Lifespaces’ sustainability framework and global best practices. The transaction is subject to statutory approvals and customary conditions precedent.

The companies acknowledged the role of Avinash Sule, Founder of Route78Partners, for strategic counsel in aligning governance frameworks and long-term objectives between the partners.

Mineral Auction Rules Amended To Speed Mine Operationalisation

The Ministry of Mines notified the Mineral (Auction) Second Amendment Rules, 2026 on 30 March 2026 to accelerate operationalisation of mines and improve ease of doing business in the mining sector.
