Excon this year is expected to have more vigour and optimism

He shares more... <p></p> <p><span style="font-weight: bold;">Expectations at Excon 2017: </span>With a slew of projects being announced by government including Bharatmala and others, Excon this year is expected to have more vigour and optimism from the industry and stakeholders.</p> <p><span style="font-weight: bold;">Marketing strategy for G75 product: </span>This is an innovative and disruptive product that will also be showcased at Excon this year. Existing graders cannot do jobs beyond express highways and national highways, and 95 per cent of road construction is happening on rural and municipal roads, hill roads, and all secondary roads. We have been designing this product for the last couple of years, and developed a product that gave an µuncompromised mechanised solution' to grading work for these types of roads, which none of the current graders have been able to serve. And, we are delighted to see the response, because for road contractors, this is freedom from suboptimal methods and a ready solution to their several problems. </p> <p><span style="font-weight: bold;">Smart technology:</span> With the launch of the new telematics system, DigiSense v which will also be part of the products displayed at Excon v our equipment are now loaded with advanced technology to track performance on real-time. We have also carried out various technological enhancements through improvisations in few key aggregates to enhance fuel-efficiency and increase productivity of our machines, thus helping them deliver even higher output. </p> <p><span style="font-weight: bold;">Rental Services: </span>The future of construction equipment business in India like other developed markets is into rental services and solutions. Special display of our comprehensive offering in rental services business will include equipment rental, asset management, equipment banking, operating lease and operations and maintenance training though five regional training centres across the country. </p>
