Simon India Partners with Ballestra S.p.A. for Tech Collaboration

Simon India has entered into a Business Cooperation Agreement with Italy’s Ballestra S.p.A., reinforcing global partnerships in chemical and fertilizer technology and engineering.

Ballestra brings a portfolio of internationally recognized technology licenses, spanning sulphuric acid, phosphoric acid, purified phosphoric acid (PPA), ammonium nitrate, granular fertilisers, and specialty chemicals. Simon India complements this expertise with proven capabilities in detailed engineering and EPCM execution for bulk chemical projects, enabling efficient, scalable, and reliable solutions.

The non-exclusive agreement positions Simon India as a technology aggregator, helping clients evaluate and select optimal technologies from top licensors worldwide. By merging Ballestra’s technological strengths with Simon India’s engineering proficiency, the collaboration aims to deliver integrated, client-focused solutions.

Athar Shahab, Chairman of Simon India, said, "This partnership aligns with the Adventz Group’s vision of fostering global collaborations that blend advanced technologies with engineering excellence. It strengthens our capacity to support the evolving needs of the chemical and fertilizer sectors."

Paolo Iengo, Managing Director, Ballestra S.p.A., noted, "Ballestra has a long history of developing innovative technologies for the chemical and fertilizer industries. Collaborating with Simon India allows us to merge our technology expertise with strong engineering execution, creating fresh opportunities for clients in India."

Aashutosh Aggarwal, CEO of Simon India, added, "Our cooperation with Ballestra reinforces Simon India’s commitment to delivering the best global technologies to our clients. As a technology aggregator, we help customers identify and implement the most suitable solutions, and Ballestra’s portfolio complements our engineering and EPCM capabilities perfectly."

Through this partnership, both companies aim to enhance access to advanced technologies, improve engineering delivery, and support the development of modern chemical and fertilizer projects globally.
