What will the new launches be at bC India 2014?
We are not launching a new product, but displaying GENIE Z-51/30J RT, a diesel powered articulating boom lift with a horizontal reach of 30 ft 4 inch and a working height of 57 ft 3 inch. Also, we are exhibiting the new GENIE Z-62/40 with a working height of 67 ft 11 inch and an amazing horizontal reach of height of 40 ft 11 inch. It is particularly made on market demand and is a sensation in the US market.

What are your expectations from the event?
Participating in bC India for us is a mark of respect we show towards the Indian construction industry - being a part and contributor to the growing construction industry in India. Our expectations have always been to showcase our products - the GENIE range of aerial work platforms, boom lifts and scissor lifts, which are popular at construction sites, keeping more people safe while working at heights.

How do you see the way forward for the construction equipment sector?
It is a thumps-up for the construction equipment sector as the overall infrastructure scene is put on priority since our recent political overhaul. We are hopeful that the days ahead will see the sector progressing in multiples. We are into the end-user sales segment and about 10 per cent involvement is into rentals. Our strategy next year is to focus on rentals, and at bC India, we look forward to meeting people who will be interested in our services.
