UAE firms to spend $3.7 bn in Uttar Pradesh

Five Indian-owned businesses in the UAE have committed more than $3.65 bn (AED 13.44 bn) towards infrastructure and industrial development initiatives in Uttar Pradesh. The development came about as the state government launched a programme to attract investments from across the globe, especially the Middle East. As reported, the UAE-based Indian companies have signed MoUs, pledging to invest in the state´s upcoming manufacturing, utilities and healthcare initiatives.
