A-1 Wins Rs 1.27 billion Order for Automotive-Grade Urea

A-1 has secured an order worth Rs 1.27 billion to supply 25,000 MT of automotive-grade industrial urea to Sai Baba Polymer Technologies for delivery across multiple manufacturing locations in India. The company noted that the total order value, inclusive of GST, is Rs 1.5 billion. Automotive-grade urea is processed into a solution used in Selective Catalytic Reduction systems to reduce emissions in diesel engines.

The company stated that the contract will support operating revenue and reflects growing demand for its automotive-grade urea portfolio. Chairman and Managing Director Harshadkumar Patel said the business aims to strengthen its presence in the automotive chemicals value chain while maintaining a diversified customer base. Shares of A-1 closed 5 per cent higher at Rs 2,433.10 on the BSE.
