Action TESA Launches OrnaMatte Range with Durable Matte Surface Finishes

Action TESA has introduced OrnaMatte, a new range of performance-driven matte finishes aimed at enhancing modern interior surfaces with a balance of aesthetics and durability. The company, known for engineered panel products including MDF, HDHMR, Boilo and particle boards, said the offering aligns with evolving consumer demand for contemporary yet long-lasting furniture and interior solutions.

The company noted that in the Indian market, surface finish selection is often influenced by architects, interior designers and peer recommendations, rather than personal preference alone. Interior design trends are also increasingly shaped by exhibitions, furniture fairs, editorial publications, cinema and major events, which collectively guide consumer choices.

OrnaMatte by Action TESA features a curated selection of 38 matte finishes designed for a refined appearance along with functional performance. Matte surfaces continue to gain traction in interior design for their elegant appeal and timeless aesthetic across age groups.

According to the company, OrnaMatte offers anti-fingerprint properties and 3H scratch resistance, making it suitable for high-usage residential and commercial environments. The anti-fingerprint feature delivers a satin-like smooth texture while helping maintain a clean appearance. It also incorporates Surface Coating Deactivation Technology, enabling a wide range of shades and design possibilities.

Engineered for near-zero gloss and enhanced durability, the product is intended to retain its premium look over time. Action TESA said the matte finish range is designed to support modern design requirements while ensuring consistent performance in daily use.

OrnaMatte can be used across multiple applications including kitchen shutters, wall panelling, sliding wardrobes, modular kitchens, furniture panels, decorative display panels, product display units and wall cladding.
