AIDO Launches Smart Hotel Lock

AIDO, an endorsed brand of dormakaba, has launched the AIDO Hotel Lock, designed to provide secure and seamless access management for hotels, serviced residences and institutional environments.

The lock combines smart security, operational efficiency and contemporary design to support modern hospitality operations. It features integrated electronic mortise functionality, reverse lifting handle locking and compatibility with third-party property management systems, enabling smoother room access and check-in processes.

Operating on 6V DC with four AA alkaline batteries, the lock offers up to 10,000 battery cycles. It includes door-ajar alerts, low-battery notifications, input error alarms, anti-locking signal monitoring, cylinder monitoring and door status detection.

Built with 304 stainless steel components tested for up to 100,000 cycles, the lock is designed for heavy usage. It supports Mifare smart card access at 13.56 MHz and can store up to 2,000 door operation records for audit and tracking.

The product also supports integration with handheld devices, encoders, access control systems and third-party property management platforms. Available in satin chrome, black, grey and antique brass finishes, the AIDO Hotel Lock is aimed at secure, scalable and design-led hospitality infrastructure.
