Azad Engineering to build manufacturing facility for MHI

Mr. M Hasegawa, Dy. GM, Takasago Blade and combustion components manufacture, MHI, Japan, Mr. Raja Ram Reddy, Engineering, Mr. T. Nagayasu, Chairman & MD, Mr. K. Tanaka, Dy. CEO of Mitsubishi, Foundation stone laid for a US$ 20 million exclusive production facility for the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries factory in Hyderabad's Tunikibollaram neighbourhood.

India's Hyderabad, December 27: Azad Engineering, the top precision engineering firm in India, took a trailblazing step by laying the cornerstone for a dedicated manufacturing plant for Mitsubishi Heavy Industries of Japan.

Azad Engineering Pt Ltd.'s managing director, Rakesh Chopdar, laid the cornerstone for the new 11,800 square metre building. The relationship between Azad and Mitsubishi began with a few machines roughly ten years ago, developed into an exclusive bay in their current manufacturing plant, and has now taken on a new phase with the construction of an entirely new manufacturing facility for MHI.
