Bridgestone Honours Changemakers at 5th Mobility Impact Awards 2025

Bridgestone India announced the winners of the 5th Mobility Social Impact Awards (MSIA) 2025, recognising organisations that have leveraged mobility to empower communities and enhance road safety. The ceremony, held in Pune, was attended by industry leaders, policymakers, and social change-makers.
The awards were presented in two categories—Empowerment of Vulnerable Communities and Road Safety Innovation and Excellence. The Association of People with Disability (APD), Bengaluru, won the top honour for its ‘Rehab on Wheels’ initiative, providing last-mile rehabilitation services to persons with disabilities. Delhi-based Impact Guru Foundation was named 1st Runner-up for its health, education, and skilling initiatives impacting over 8.1 million lives. Jharkhand Vikas Parishad received the Jury Commendation for its community-led livelihood and women empowerment programmes across 160+ villages.
Under the Road Safety category, ALERT (Amenity Lifeline Emergency Response Team), Chennai, received the top award for training over 450 thousand citizens in life-saving emergency response skills. Social Association for Everyone (SAFE India), Bhubaneshwar, was 1st Runner-up for its #ZoneZero Safe School Zone and RSDAS Driver Training programmes. Safety Research Foundation (SRF), Bengaluru, earned the Jury Commendation for its BRACE Project, enhancing school safety through infrastructure upgrades and community awareness.

Now in its fifth year, MSIA is Bridgestone India’s flagship CSR initiative, recognising scalable and impactful mobility-based solutions for social transformation. The awards align with Bridgestone’s E8 Commitment values of Empowerment, Ease, Emotion, and Efficiency—reflecting its mission of “Serving Society with Superior Quality.”
