CapitaLand India Trust Signs Agreement for Data Centre Development

CapitaLand India Trust (CLINT) announced a long-term agreement with a global hyperscaler for one of its data centres under development. This deal is expected to secure pre-leases for approximately half of the total 250 MW power capacity in development.

With India’s rapidly growing digitalisation demands, CLINT is well-positioned to capitalise on the increasing need for data storage and processing infrastructure. The trust is developing data centres in key Indian cities, including Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Bangalore, with a total capacity of 244 MW.

CapitaLand’s diversification into data centres aims to support India’s rapid digital transformation, and the company continues to explore partnerships with strategic investors.
