Construction of Mango Subarnarekha Flyover Gains Momentum

The construction of the 2.8 km flyover over the Mango Subarnarekha River has been accelerated, with workers setting a target to complete it within the next 18 months. The elevated road is planned to extend from Blue Bells School on Mango Dimna Road to New Purulia Road, crossing the Subarnarekha River, and ending at Gandhi Ghat, which will establish a vital connection across the river.

The structure will be supported by 55 pillars, and the testing of the first pillar has already been completed. Standing at a height of 10 meters, the flyover is intended to significantly reduce traffic congestion in the area. Contractors are utilizing high-quality materials to ensure its durability and safety.

Work at the construction site is proceeding around the clock to meet the ambitious deadline.
