Delhi's new underpass to ease traffic in 9 areas

The Bhairon Road Underpass completion in Delhi, originally scheduled for December 31, has been delayed due to stoppages in work caused by pollution. It is now anticipated to become operational by February or March next year. The underpass is considered a crucial development aimed at alleviating traffic congestion and cutting down travel time for commuters on the Ring Road, especially between Rajghat, Yamuna Par?s Laxmi Nagar, and Bhairon Marg.

Hindustan Zinc contributed Rs 188.46 billion to the public exchequer in FY 2025-26, according to its 9th Tax Transparency Report.
