Egis India Backs Education Partnerships in NCR

Egis in India has partnered with Shakti Foundation and renewed its multi-year association with Bharat Memorial Charitable Trust to support education and development initiatives for underprivileged children across Delhi-NCR.

At Shakti Foundation’s Ghazipur Circle Centre, Egis will support remedial education for children who have dropped out of school or are facing learning gaps. The support will help mainstream students back into government schools and cover rental costs for the learning floor, books, worksheets, teaching aids and stationery.

The centre also conducts enrichment activities such as photography, videography, self-defence and competitive jump rope training, aimed at building confidence and life skills among students.

Egis has also renewed its partnership with Bharat Memorial Charitable Trust, which runs NeeV, a learning centre providing education, vocational training and health services to around 500 underprivileged children and youth annually. Egis will provide stationery, library materials, school uniforms, basic amenities, infrastructure support and consultancy through its engineering expertise.

Raghunath Murthy, Country Managing Director, Egis in India, said the company aims to extend its community engagement and sustainability initiatives in ways that create lasting impact and improve quality of life. He added that quality education remains a key enabler of India’s socio-economic progress.

The initiative forms part of Egis India’s CSR programme and aligns with Egis Group’s sustainability commitments of protecting the environment, growing responsibly and developing talent.
