Eicher Launches Pro Plus Trucks for Smarter LMD Logistics

Eicher Trucks and Buses, a division of VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV), has unveiled the next-generation Eicher Pro Plus Series, set to redefine India’s Light and Medium Duty (LMD) commercial vehicle segment. This launch underlines Eicher’s dedication to transforming the logistics sector with high-performance, connected, and sustainable transport solutions tailored for India’s fast-evolving supply chains.
Building upon the established legacy of the Eicher Pro Series, the new range features factory-fitted air-conditioned ergonomic cabins and major improvements in payload capacity, fuel efficiency, and digital connectivity.

Designed to boost lifecycle profitability, the range includes:
  • Higher payloads for increased earnings per trip
  • Extended cargo body options, reducing post-sale modification needs
  • Segment-first features like smart air conditioning and ergonomic cabs
  • Full connectivity via Eicher Live and My Eicher for real-time fleet insights
Speaking on the launch, Mr. Vishal Mathur, Executive Vice President – LMD Trucks, VECV, said, “Eicher’s Pro Plus range addresses the future of logistics with performance and sustainability at its core. This series reflects our deep customer engagement and engineering innovation, catering to both intra-city and long-haul needs.”
The trucks also feature intelligent air conditioning that adapts cooling based on cabin temperature and cuts off during idling to improve fuel efficiency. With this, Eicher aims to improve both driver comfort and fleet profitability.

Product Highlights:
  • Pro 3018XP Plus: A long-haul 18.25-tonne GVW truck with a 2.1m sleeper cabin, 160 HP engine, and 7-speed overdrive gearbox. Suited for FMCG, e-commerce, and perishables.
  • Pro 2118XP Plus: A day-cabin 18.25-tonne GVW truck optimised for regional logistics, with tight turning radius and premium cabin.
  • Pro 2059 Plus: A 7.5-tonne city logistics truck offering top-tier payload and ergonomic design for volume-based transport.
  • Pro 2095XP Plus: A configurable 11.5-tonne GVW workhorse with up to 140 HP, available in various wheelbase and cargo body variants.
  • Pro 2049 Plus: A compact 5.5-tonne GVW intra-city delivery truck with high torque and excellent fuel economy.
  • Pro 2110XPT Plus: A robust 14-tonne tipper with 160 HP and 500 Nm torque, ideal for building and construction use.
