Enviro Infra Secures Rs 9,721.9 mn EPC Orders Under SBM 2.0

Enviro Infra Engineers saw shares rise after securing two engineering, procurement and construction contracts from the Swachh Maharashtra Mission Directorate worth a combined Rs 9,721.9 million (mn). The orders concern sewage treatment infrastructure across urban local bodies in Maharashtra under the Swachh Bharat Mission Urban 2.0 programme. The awards were disclosed as not related party transactions and there is no promoter or group company interest in the awarding authority.

The contract covering ULBs in Pune, for STPs with capacity below five million litres per day, includes development of 120.50 MLD of STP capacity, 209 km of interception and diversion network and 887.20 km of sewer pipelines and is valued at Rs 5,872.1 million (mn) with a 24 month execution period. The Nashik contract, for STPs of five MLD and above, involves 121.10 MLD of STP development, 105.50 km of I&D network and 433.68 km of sewer lines and is valued at Rs 3,849.8 million (mn) with the same timeline. Together the projects cover infrastructure across three hundred and six ULBs with populations below zero point one million (mn).

Enviro Infra Engineers is a leading engineering, procurement and construction company in water and wastewater treatment plants and water supply scheme projects for government authorities, with over 15 years of experience. The recent awards are expected to bolster the order book and revenue visibility while providing sustained execution work for project teams. The wins reinforce the company's focus on municipal wastewater solutions.

On a consolidated basis, net profit for the quarter to December rose by 10.08 per cent to Rs 404.0 million (mn) on a 1.03 per cent rise in revenue from operations to Rs 2,500.1 million (mn) year on year. The firm will commence mobilisation of resources and finalise implementation schedules to meet the prescribed timelines. Market reaction reflected investor recognition of contract accretion to the order book.
