HCC Secures Rs 2.04 Bn Contract from Hindalco for Smelter Expansion Project

Hindustan Construction Company (HCC) has been awarded a Rs 2.04 billion contract by Hindalco Industries for the fabrication, supply, and erection of pot shell and superstructure components at the Aditya Aluminium smelter expansion project in Odisha.

The project is part of Hindalco’s major initiative to boost aluminium smelting capacity by 200,000 tonnes per annum, underscoring India's growing industrial and manufacturing ambitions. HCC’s scope includes delivering high-precision, large-scale fabrication to global standards — a task well-aligned with its proven expertise in complex industrial execution.

This contract further strengthens HCC’s footprint in specialized private sector industrial projects, marking its continued role in advancing India’s core infrastructure and manufacturing capabilities.

With decades of experience in delivering process plants, industrial facilities, and fabrication-intensive projects, HCC is recognized for its ability to set up custom on-site fabrication units to meet demanding and technically sophisticated requirements.
