Jeep India expands reach with SGA Dealership in Coimbatore

Jeep India has bolstered its presence in the retail sector by inaugurating a new dealership, SGA Jeep, in Coimbatore. The automaker intends to expand its dealership network to 80 by the year-end, as announced on November 5. Presently, Jeep India operates in 64 cities nationwide and boasts over 72 touchpoints.

The newly opened SGA Jeep dealership in Coimbatore spans 2,100 sq ft and offers a comprehensive selection of Jeep models, including Grand Cherokee, Wrangler, Meridian, and Compass, catering to the region. In addition to Coimbatore, the dealership will also serve neighboring districts such as Erode, Nilgiris, and Tirupur.

"Tamil Nadu holds significant economic importance and is a key market for Jeep India. Our partnership with SGA in the strategic Coimbatore market underscores the rising demand for the Jeep brand in the region. This initiative aligns with our goal to enhance our service network across India, aiming for 80 dealerships by the close of 2023," stated Aditya Jairaj, Jeep India Operations Head and Deputy Managing Director of Stellantis India.

He emphasised, "This expansion reaffirms Jeep India's unwavering dedication to the Indian market and the Jeep community." Jeep, a part of the Stellantis global automotive and mobility portfolio, is noteworthy for being the first country, outside North America, where four Jeep models are produced locally for both domestic consumption and export to other right-hand drive markets.
