JSW One Platforms has expanded its Board of Directors with the appointment of two Independent Directors — Aparna Popat Ved, Olympian and Independent Director on the boards of Eternal and Hero FinCorp, and Prabhjeet Singh, former associate of McKinsey & Company, Inc and Uber Systems India Private. The appointments come as JSW One Platforms focuses on scaling its technology, distribution and financial services capabilities across India’s manufacturing and construction ecosystem. The move is aimed at strengthening the Board’s expertise across technology, talent development and governance. Speaking on the appointments, Gaurav Sachdeva, Joint Managing Director & CEO, JSW One Platforms, said, “As JSW One enters its next phase of growth, it is important that our Board brings together the breadth of perspectives needed to build a technology-led, high-performance organisation at scale. Prabhjeet, who has previously been associated with McKinsey & Co and Uber India, brings deep experience in scaling a technology platform in India. We are delighted to welcome Aparna and Prabhjeet to the JSW One Board.” Aparna Popat Ved is a two-time Olympian and three-time Commonwealth Games medallist. She received the Arjuna Award in 2005 and holds an MBA. She currently serves as an Independent Director on the boards of Eternal Limited and Hero FinCorp. She has also co-founded All Is Well of Meboki Technologies Private and served as an Executive Director of the Olympians Association of India. Prabhjeet Singh brings experience in strategy and management across businesses in India. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electronics and electrical communication engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and a post-graduate diploma in management from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He has also previously worked with McKinsey & Company, Inc and Uber Systems India Private. The appointments further strengthen JSW One Platforms’ Board as the company continues to develop an integrated technology, commerce and financial services platform for India’s manufacturing and construction sectors.
