Karur Vysya Bank Expands Network with 4 New Branches in TN

Karur Vysya Bank, a private sector lender, has strengthened its presence in Tamil Nadu by inaugurating four new branches, raising its total branch count to 862. The bank had already launched 24 new branches in the current financial year.

The newly inaugurated branches are located in Madurai, Tiruppur, Krishnagiri, and Chennai, the bank announced in a press release on Sunday. These branches will cater to a wide range of banking services, from basic transactions to specialized financial needs.

As of September 30, 2024, Karur Vysya Bank reported a total business of ?1,76,138 crore and a net profit of ?932 crore. Its non-performing assets stood at a mere 0.28%, indicating a healthy financial position.

The bank’s strategy of expanding its branch network aligns with its goal of improving access to financial services for its customers across Tamil Nadu, while also ensuring solid growth in business and profitability.
