KONE India Expands Andhra Pradesh Presence With New Vizag Office

KONE Elevator India has expanded its footprint in Andhra Pradesh with a new office in Visakhapatnam, aligning with its global Rise strategy that focuses on smarter, safer and more sustainable urban mobility. The facility was inaugurated by Hon’ble MLAs Shri V Ramakrishna Babu and Shri CH Vamsi Krishna Srinivas, along with Mr Amit Gossain, Managing Director, KONE India and South Asia.

The expanded office strengthens KONE’s ability to serve customers across Visakhapatnam, Srikakulam, Vijayanagaram and the East and West Godavari districts. It enhances local support for sales, installation, service and modernisation activities, bringing the Company closer to its customers in the region.

Designed as both an operational hub and an experience centre, the facility will showcase KONE’s latest designs, digital technologies and energy-efficient elevator and escalator solutions. It also supports deeper engagement with builders, developers, hospitals, educational institutions, residential projects and government bodies across the state.

KONE already works with several prominent establishments in the region, including Sheraton Four Points, Hotel Green Park, Bhima’s Jewellers, Westside, Tech Mahindra, Andhra University and Dr L B College. The new office aims to strengthen these relationships and expand the Company’s network further.

Amit Gossain said Visakhapatnam is one of South India’s most dynamic and rapidly developing cities, reflecting the blend of heritage and progress central to KONE’s Rise strategy.
