Lubi Industries to Install 1,400 Fast DC EV Chargers for BPCL

Lubi Industries has won a contract from Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) to manufacture, supply, install, and commission 1,400 fast DC electric vehicle (EV) chargers across India. The 60kW chargers will be installed at BPCL retail outlets, marking a significant step in expanding the country’s EV infrastructure.

This project constitutes a major share of India’s annual deployment of DC chargers and is expected to accelerate EV adoption while promoting sustainable mobility. Lubi Industries emphasized its commitment to India’s EV revolution, stating that the advanced chargers will provide uninterrupted user experiences and highlight the importance of indigenization in critical infrastructure development.

The chargers will be built using locally manufactured components, adhering to regulatory quality standards. This initiative aligns with the government’s vision of cleaner energy and fostering a sustainable EV ecosystem in the country.
