Scope of work includes the construction of stations at Dr. Kashinath Ghanekar Natyagruha, Manpada, Dongripada, Vijay Nagari, Waghbil and Waterfront along the corridor. The contract will require elevated structural work, platform provision and associated passenger amenities at each location. The design and execution responsibilities will rest with the successful bidder under MahaMetro supervision. The Thane Integral Ring Metro Project is a 29-km circular rapid transit corridor along the western side of Thane and was approved in August 2024. The corridor will ultimately comprise 22 stations and is expected to reduce congestion and improve connectivity across key areas by 2029. MahaMetro and the Thane Municipal Corporation will jointly execute project implementation and co-ordinate planning for integration with other city services.
