NCC Secures Rs 2.18 Billion Transport Project from State Government

Infrastructure company NCC secured a transportation project worth Rs 2.18 billion (excluding GST) in February 2025, awarded by a state government. The project falls under the company’s transportation division and is expected to be executed over a period of 36 months. The order was obtained as part of NCC’s regular business operations and does not involve any related party transactions. The awarding entity has no direct or indirect ties to the company’s promoters, promoter group, or associated companies.

In financial performance, NCC reported a 12.5 per cent year-on-year decline in net profit for the third quarter that ended December 31, 2024, with earnings dropping to Rs 1.93 billion compared to Rs 2.20 billion in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year. Despite this decline in profit, the company's revenue from operations saw a modest increase of 1.6 per cent, rising to Rs 53.44 billion from Rs 52.60 billion in the previous year’s third quarter.

At the operational level, EBITDA contracted by 16.6 per cent, declining to Rs 4.20 billion in Q3FY25 from Rs 5.04 billion in Q3FY24. The EBITDA margin also declined to 7.9 per cent from 9.6 per cent in the same period last year. Additionally, the company’s basic and diluted earnings per share (EPS) fell to Rs 3.08 in the third quarter from Rs 3.51 a year ago.

NCC continues to focus on securing infrastructure projects as part of its growth strategy, despite fluctuations in financial performance.
