Nemetschek Launches AI-Powered Max Solutions for AEC Industry

Nemetschek Group has introduced a new suite of artificial intelligence (AI)-powered solutions across architecture, engineering and construction (AEC), strengthening its focus on digital transformation and workflow automation. The portfolio comprises Archicad Max for architecture, Allplan Max for engineering and Bluebeam Max for construction, all powered by the company's Nemetschek Intelligence Platform.

The solutions aim to reduce repetitive tasks, improve access to project data and enhance design accuracy while allowing professionals to retain control over critical decisions. Built around open standards and interoperability, the offerings integrate AI capabilities into existing workflows across the building lifecycle, from conceptual design to construction execution.

Julian Geiger, Chief AI Officer, Nemetschek Group, said, ""AI in our industry only creates real value when it understands the project, works where professionals work and connects with everything else on the job. With Archicad Max, Allplan Max and Bluebeam Max, we are scaling one AI strategy across design, engineering and construction, built on a shared intelligence platform rather than isolated features. And we are doing it the Nemetschek way: open. Our AI connects to open standards like IFC and to the AI tools our customers choose, through open protocols such as the Model Context Protocol. Customers keep ownership of their data, their choice of tools and their professional judgment. That is how AI becomes a trusted part of everyday work, not just another platform to be locked into.""

Archicad Max, developed by Graphisoft, introduces an AI Assistant in beta capable of executing multi-step tasks within architectural models. It also includes AI Assistant Spaces for accessing project-specific standards and knowledge, alongside an upgraded AI Visualizer. Subscribers receive early access to Nemetschek Creator, a browser-based early-stage design platform scheduled for commercial release in 2027.

Allplan Max 2027 extends AI capabilities across the group's engineering software portfolio, including Allplan, SCIA, FRILO, RISA and SDS2. Its features include AI BIM Modeler, AI Structural Analyst, AI Drafter, AI BIM Analyst and AI Formula Writer, supporting modelling, analysis and detailing activities. According to the company, early beta users reported completing selected tasks up to 36 per cent faster.

Bluebeam Max, available globally since May 2026, integrates AI-powered tools into Bluebeam Revu to improve construction documentation and coordination. Features include Smart Review for detecting design discrepancies and missing information, Smart Overlay for identifying drawing revisions, and Magic Markups for automating repetitive markups and quantity take-offs. Its drawing-stitching functionality enables large infrastructure drawing sets to be combined into navigable views.

More than 2,000 early adopters of Bluebeam Max have reported productivity improvements across preconstruction, design coordination and construction management. The solution has also been available free of charge to eligible students and educators worldwide since September 2026.

Through its Max portfolio, Nemetschek aims to accelerate AI adoption across the AEC sector, improve project efficiency and support connected, data-driven workflows while maintaining interoperability and professional oversight.
