To improve digital education, Wi-Fi facilities costing Rs 900 million were rolled out across 130 higher education institutions, benefiting over 250,000 students.
In healthcare, the PM unveiled plans to upgrade MKCG Medical College in Berhampur and VIMSAR in Sambalpur into world-class super-speciality hospitals at a cost of Rs 30 billion, adding trauma care units, maternal and child health services, dental colleges, and expanded academic infrastructure.

In telecom, he commissioned 97,500 4G towers using BSNL’s indigenous technology, completed at a cost of Rs 370 billion. For rural housing, 50,000 beneficiaries received sanction orders under the Antyodaya Gruha Yojana, which provides pucca homes and financial aid to vulnerable families including widows, persons with disabilities, terminally ill patients and disaster victims.
