Projects worth Rs 500 crore to be developed in Quthbullapur

Minister K T Rama Rao has participated in Quthbullapur constituency development works. Further, projects of around Rs 500 crore were inaugurated and will soon be developed in Quthbullapur.

On Tuesday, the municipal administration and urban development minister, K.T. Rama Rao, took part in the different development project works in the constituency of Quthbullapur.

There are many projects that will be coming up soon and the estimated budget for the same is Rs 500 crore. The foundation stone for the road widening project of Bachupally cross roads- Bhowrampet passing through Mallampet and Shambhupur was laid by Rao. The minister inaugurated a sports-theme park located in Suraram division and a multi-purpose function hall located in Bhagat Singh Nagar, Chintal. The minister also inaugurated different sewerage treatment plants in divisions of Jeedimetla and Subash Nagar among others.

Considering the increasing requirements of the increasing population, the development projects are being carried out for meeting the demands of the upcoming 30 years at least. The strategic Nala development plan (SNDP) focuses on nalas in different areas of the city where they will be developed into a long-lasting solution for avoiding floods in heavy rainfall.

To ease the chaos caused by the city traffic various flyovers and underpasses are being developed.

Minister Rao said that he is happy to have inaugurated so many developed projects in just one day in the Quthbullapur constituency.
