Purnima Sahu Initiates 28 Development Projects in Jamshedpur

The foundation stone for 28 major development projects in the Jamshedpur East Assembly Constituency was laid at the Town Hall Complex in Sidhgora. The initiative, led by MLA Purnima Sahu, marks a significant step towards improving infrastructure in the region. The event saw participation from Sanjeev Kumar, the representative of MP Bidyut Baran Mahto, along with local officials and community members.

The projects, with a total estimated cost of Rs 5,94,62,291, are funded by the Urban Development and Housing Department and will be executed under the supervision of the Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC). These initiatives aim to enhance road transport and civic amenities, ensuring better infrastructure for residents.

Of the 28 projects, 12 focus on road transport, with a budget allocation of Rs 2,18,55,314, while 15 are dedicated to civic amenities, amounting to Rs 3,47,36,827. An additional project worth Rs 28,70,150 has been sanctioned under the 15th Finance Commission.

Key developments include road construction in Birsanagar Zone No. 1, Brahmantola of Bhuiyadih, and Mathura Garden of Golmuri. Paver block installations are planned for Birsanagar, Kashidih, Burmamines, and Sitaramdera, while drainage improvements will be carried out in Manifit, Birsanagar Zone No. 1, and Bhuiyadih. Infrastructure projects also include a new library hall at the Golmuri community hall, boundary walls for plots in Bagunhatu and Bhuiyadih, and a community building in Devnagar.

These developments are expected to contribute to the overall growth of the constituency by addressing key infrastructure needs and enhancing the quality of life for residents.
