Servotech Joins 62 Discoms for PM Surya Ghar Scheme

Servotech Power Systems announced that it has been enrolled with 62 discoms across India under the Pradhan Mantri-Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana. This move solidifies the company's position in the renewable energy sector and enhances consumer access to government subsidies for solar solutions.

The PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in February, aims to illuminate one crore households by installing rooftop solar equipment and providing up to 300 units of free electricity each month. The scheme has garnered significant interest, with over 1.28 crore registrations and around 14 lakh applications for rooftop installations.

By partnering with 62 discoms, Servotech Power Systems expands its reach and supports the broader adoption of solar energy. The enrollment allows consumers to benefit from government subsidies while purchasing solar solutions, making renewable energy more accessible and affordable.
