Sterlite Technologies Subsidiary Secures US$ 1.2 bn Supply Agreement

Sterlite Technologies has announced that a wholly owned subsidiary has received a long-term supply agreement from an international hyperscale partner. The agreement has a potential value of approximately US$ 1.2 bn over its tenure, calculated using prevailing selling prices for the connectivity products to be supplied.

The arrangement covers the allocation of optical connectivity products for each calendar year from CY26 to CY30. Purchase orders will be issued periodically during the contract period, with deliveries to be made according to the customer’s specifications and requirements.

The agreement is scheduled to run until December 2030. The regulatory disclosure did not identify the hyperscale partner, describing it only as an international entity awarding the contract.

The contract includes a reciprocal risk-sharing framework for both parties. Under the arrangement, the financial liabilities of Sterlite Technologies’ subsidiary and the customer will be capped in the event of demand shortfalls, supply-capacity constraints or failures to meet the agreed requirements.

Sterlite Technologies said the contract does not involve any interest held by its promoter, promoter group or group companies in the awarding entity. It also does not fall within related-party transaction provisions. The company submitted the disclosure under Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations, 2015, to the stock exchanges on October 1, 2026.
