Syngene Appoints Peter Bains as MD & CEO Effective April 2025

Syngene International has announced the appointment of Peter Bains as its Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, effective April 1, 2025. The appointment was approved by the company’s Board of Directors based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee (NRC) and is subject to shareholder approval.

In compliance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, Syngene confirmed that Bains is not debarred from holding the position of director by any regulatory authority, including the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).

Further details regarding the appointment, as required under SEBI regulations, have been provided in Annexure 1 of the company’s official announcement.

Bains brings extensive industry experience to Syngene and is expected to play a key role in driving the company’s strategic growth initiatives.
