TGSRTC Introduces Seven-Day Unlimited Travel Pass for Rs. 600

The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) has introduced a Rs. 600 weekly bus pass that allows unlimited travel on city buses across the Greater Hyderabad region for seven consecutive days. The initiative is intended to provide a convenient public transport option for commuters and visitors requiring regular travel over a week.

The pass is valid on all categories of city buses, including air-conditioned services. However, it does not cover Pushpak Airport Liner buses, according to the corporation. Passengers using the pass can undertake multiple journeys during its validity period without purchasing separate tickets for each trip.

TGSRTC said the weekly pass would be useful for regular commuters, tourists and business visitors staying in Hyderabad for short periods. It is also expected to offer additional flexibility to people who travel to the city frequently but do not require a longer-term travel facility.

The new offering supplements the corporation’s existing daily and monthly bus passes. Commuters can select the weekly option based on their travel requirements and avoid the need to make repeated fare payments during the seven-day validity period.

The passes will be available at all city bus pass counters, allowing passengers to purchase them from the counter nearest to them. TGSRTC Managing Director Y Nagi Reddy said the initiative was aimed at encouraging public transport use while making daily commuting more affordable and convenient. The corporation has not indicated any change to the availability or terms of its existing daily and monthly passes.
