TrucksUp, NHAI Partner to Enhance Highway Safety

TrucksUp, an AI-enabled logistics aggregator platform, has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), through the Indian Highways Management Company Limited (IHMCL), to enhance safety, efficiency and user experience for commercial vehicle operators across India’s national highways.
As part of the collaboration, TrucksUp will integrate the Rajmargyatra App into its platform, enabling drivers to receive real-time alerts on accident-prone zones, diversions, construction activity and adverse weather conditions. The platform will also allow geo-tagged reporting of road hazards such as potholes and damaged crash barriers, supporting a centralised response mechanism. Additionally, the ‘Call 1033’ feature will provide direct access to the National Highway Helpline for emergency assistance.
The partnership aims to promote responsible driving through initiatives such as the Vishisht Saarthi programme, while also enabling structured feedback on toll operations, FASTag issues and wayside amenities. The collaboration underscores a broader effort to create a safer, more responsive and technology-driven highway ecosystem in India."
