UP tourism to spend Rs 30 mn for Buddhist site in Sankisa

Uttar Pradesh plans to allocate approximately Rs 300 million for enhancing infrastructure at Sankisa, a Buddhist site in Farrukhabad. Tourism Minister Jaiveer Singh announced that the investment will focus on developing tourist facilities at Buddh Vihar, costing around Rs 200 million. This initiative includes the construction of a boundary wall, water facilities, passenger sheds, lighting, toilets, restrooms, and a passenger hall.
