Vivek Kumar Gupta appointed part-time government Director on RVNL Board

RVNL, a state-owned entity, announced that Vivek Kumar Gupta has been appointed as a part-time government director on its board by the President of India. The appointment is effective immediately, according to a filing with the stock exchange.

The filing stated, "The Ministry of Railways has communicated that the President of India has sanctioned the appointment of Vivek Kumar Gupta, Principal Executive Director/Gati Shakti, Railway Board, as a Part-time Government Director on the Board of RVNL with immediate effect. This appointment will be in effect until he holds the position of Principal Executive Director/Gati Shakti, Railway Board, or until further orders, whichever occurs earlier."

RVNL, operating under the Ministry of Railways, is responsible for the development, financing, and execution of projects related to rail infrastructure.
