Wipro to Drive HanesBrands’ GenAI-led IT 2.0 Transformation

Wipro Limited, a leading AI-powered technology services and consulting company, has signed a multi-year strategic agreement with HanesBrands Inc., a global apparel leader, to accelerate its IT 2.0 transformation. Using the Wipro Intelligence™ WINGS platform, the partnership aims to modernise HanesBrands’ IT infrastructure and cybersecurity operations with an AI-first approach.

The collaboration marks a milestone in HanesBrands’ journey to establish a unified, AI-led managed services model. Wipro will deploy its WINGS Operations AI platform—part of the Wipro Intelligence™ suite—to streamline operations, enhance regulatory compliance, and improve overall IT experiences for customers, suppliers, and employees, resulting in cost optimisation.

The initiative will also strengthen HanesBrands’ cybersecurity through AI-powered predictive and preventive measures, automating security workflows to reduce incident response time and improve resilience. Additionally, it will support compliance management and minimise business disruption through greater operational stability.

Scott Pleiman, Chief Strategy, Transformation, Analytics and Technology Officer, HanesBrands, said, “The engagement with Wipro is a key step in our journey to transform IT operations and deliver better experiences for our customers and partners. Wipro’s AI-led approach and deep domain expertise will help us drive innovation and achieve measurable business outcomes.”

As part of the engagement, HanesBrands will gain access to the Wipro Innovation Network, including innovation labs, AI-native companies, Wipro Ventures, academia, and technology partners. This ecosystem will enable long-term co-creation of solutions and continuous innovation.

“We are proud to be a strategic partner to HanesBrands in their IT transformation journey,” said Shiva Jayaraman, Senior Vice President and Sector Head – Consumer Business, Americas 1, Wipro Limited. “This new engagement allows us to leverage our Wipro Intelligence™ suite to enhance HanesBrands’ operational agility and resilience through AI-powered platforms and solutions. Our consulting-led, AI-driven approach will accelerate innovation and unlock new growth opportunities.”

The partnership underscores Wipro’s growing role in enabling global enterprises to harness the power of generative AI and automation for transformative business outcomes.
