Hitachi Energy will invest Rs 20 billion to expand its manufacturing operations in Tamil Nadu, strengthening India’s role in global energy supply chains. The new facility will produce advanced transformers and equipment to support the country’s clean-energy transition. A Memorandum of Understanding with the state government aims to create about 2,500 jobs.
